The Module Examination Regulations (new) contain regulations pertaining to the organization and implementation of module examinations taken alongside your regular studies in the Teacher Training for Elementary Schools degree program.
Module examinations for students with mathematics as their subject
Students studying both elementary school teacher training and mathematics must complete the following modules at our Chair:
EW-SEGS-M-02 | Introduction to the didactics of mathematics for elementary schools | Examination (120 minutes) |
EW-SEGS-M-03 | Didactics of arithmetic and geometry for elementary schools | Complex assessments |
EW-SEGS-STOC | Stochastics for elementary schools | Examination (120 minutes) |
EW-SEGS-MV | Mathematics specialization – selected questions of mathematics | Combined term paper (60 hours) |
EW-SEGS-MDV | Mathematics didactics specialization – selected questions of mathematics didactics | Complex assessments (50 hours) |
EW-SEGS-M-SPÜ | Practical school exercises for mathematics in elementary schools | Ungraded portfolio (60 hours) |
EW-SEGS-M-BPB | Block internship B for mathematics in elementary schools | Internship report (60 hours) |
You will be provided with detailed information on the specific structure of the "complex assessments" and "combined term paper" examinations in the respective seminar.

Exam registration via SELMA
Students who have enrolled from the 2023/2024 winter semester and onwards (including those who have switched degree program or subject) must use selma to register for examinations.
Please always make sure that you have selected the correct examination number for the examination you will be taking and the appropriate examiner.
The amount of time you have to register for an examination is dependent on the type of examined assessment (for example: written exam, seminar paper, oral exam etc.). For detailed information on registration and withdrawal from examinations as well as the registration periods for repeat examinations, please visit the Examination Office website.
