Media Education at TU Dresden - General information about the Chair

The Chair of Media Education represents media education at the TU Dresden. Located in teacher training, we deal with the educational and extracurricular contexts of media and technologies on life, work and learning in transforming societies from an educational science perspective.
Along the basic concepts of media education, media literacy, media education, media socialization, media criticism and media didactics as teaching and learning in, with and about media, we thus contribute to the professionalization of media education in research and teaching.
