Research workshop means a continuous forum for joint research and collegial practice. This model has proven to be a successful structure for joint research and qualification processes. The research workshop is aimed at all university lecturers, Research Associates, doctoral candidates and students who are primarily interested in qualitative research methods and work with these methods in research. The aim is to jointly develop empirical material hermeneutically, to explore the scope and limits of research methods and to discuss research concepts and strategies.
The research workshop organized by the Chair of Social Pedagogy / Prevention and Health Care usually takes place fortnightly on Tuesdays from 4.40 to 6.00 p.m. and is open to all those interested in the faculty.
The "Social Education, Social Work and Welfare Science Discussion Forum" is a series of events organized by the Institute of Social Pedagogy, Social Work and Welfare Science at TU Dresden and is intended to provide insights into current research and ongoing projects by staff at the Institute and associated researchers and institutions. After a thematic introduction or project presentation by the Advisor(s), questions can be asked. On the other hand, the focus in this format is on subsequent joint discussion of the content. The Dresden Research Talks are open to all interested students, staff and professors. The topics and event dates are always published shortly beforehand on the homepage under News.
