A successfully completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering Education at the University of Applied Sciences in Mittweida or at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau offers entry into a career in education and the opportunity to continue your studies in "Teacher Training - Vocational Schools" at TU Dresden.
The IngPäd+ study option
The cooperation between the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences, the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau and the TU Dresden has led to the implementation of the Bachelor's degree course in Engineering Education (IngPäd) at both universities. Graduates of this degree program have the opportunity to enter the "Teacher Training - Vocational Schools" degree program at TU Dresden in a simplified manner. The structure and implementation of the Bachelor's degree course and the organization of the transition to the teaching degree course were planned jointly and are carried out in close coordination.
This study option also offers people with a university of applied sciences entrance qualification the opportunity to study to become a teacher without a general university entrance qualification.
This measure is financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon state parliament.
