A warm welcome to the Faculty of Education!
The students, staff, and professors of the Faculty of Education look forward to welcoming you starting in October.
Useful Information
There are a few pages you might want to bookmark and check back on from time to time. Experienced fellow students and the Faculty Student Council are just as dedicated to helping you as the TU’s Student Marketing team or the ZLSB, the Center for Teacher Education and Educational Research. Within the faculty, the institutes and chairs welcome you with further information. This page is maintained by the faculty Dean's Office, where you’ll also find a valuable point of contact if you’re ever unsure who can answer your questions.

Our library, the SLUB, is also preparing for the start of the upcoming winter semester. As in previous years, in addition to an OPAL-based e-tutorial titled “SLUB for Beginners” ( also available in English ) and a video tour of the Central Library ( in German and English), the SLUB is once again offering live online seminars titled “SLUB for Beginners.” These have been revised and, in five department-specific seminars , provide information about our locations and literature relevant to the degree programs in the respective departments at TU Dresden.
You can find all offerings and dates for the start of the semester at a glance at https://slubdd.de/einsteiger.
