This year, TEACHERMANIA, the festival for teacher education at TU Dresden, is entering the next round for Dies Academicus. With the 4th TEACHERMANIA on 21.05.2025 from 12:00 - 17:00, at and in the Seminar Building II, i.e. directly at the ZLSB, the team pleased to once again provide space and time for encounters and exchange.

Under the motto "Theory in Action - From Classroom Concepts to Real-World Teaching", practical references in teacher training courses will be examined from different perspectives.

The staff of the ForUS University School Research Center are looking forward to talking to future teachers about applied educational research and the interlinking of theory and practice. They will provide information about opportunities for students at the University School Dresden and in the project ALSO - Alternative Teaching Internship at selected schools in Eastern Saxony.

About the University School Dresden

The Dresden University School is a joint project of the state capital Dresden and the TUD Dresden University of Technology. It is a public and free community school run by the city, where innovative forms of teaching and learning are tested under academic supervision. In addition, it is a training school for future teachers and, in the future, a further education school for teachers. The school trial is being scientifically supported by the ForUS research center at TU Dresden.
