The application phase for the 2024/25 school year is over. Applications can no longer be considered.
In the 2024/25 school year, it is also possible to complete a two-week school internship at the Research Center for Comparative History of Religious Orders (FOVOG) as part of the mandatory internships for 9th and 10th grade students.
During this internship, you will get to know the day-to-day work of historians and have the opportunity to experience research for yourself. Possible internship topics include
- Insights into literature management and research data management
- Working with medieval manuscripts
- exploring the depiction of monasteries and religious orders in popular culture, e.g. in films, series or games
- academic communication via social media
- if possible, attending courses offered by FOVOG employees
The exact structure also depends on your interests, which we will clarify with you in a preliminary discussion. You can also set your own priorities. We expect you to carry out your own project as part of your internship. You can view the results of past internship projects here.
