• DFG Network "Meal and Text" (MaTe)
• The text of the first edition of the New Testament (TENT)
• Teaching project: Writing wikis instead of just reading Wikipedia
• The Gospel of Marcion and the Gospels. A contribution to the solution of the Synoptic Problem and the origin of the Book of the Four Gospels.

• The institute was represented with two sub-projects at the SFB 804 Transcendence and Common Sense (2009-2014). The SFB 804 dealt with the question: What prerequisites, conditions and resources are necessary for the constitution and stability of social and political orders?
