Guidelines for Good Scholarly Practice

Our Institute has certain guidelines for the preparation of written work (portfolios, seminar papers and theses). In your own interest, please ensure that you adhere to these guidelines.

The guidelines for academic work at the Institute of Protestant Theology were revised in March 2021. You can find the guidelines in this document. They are in German. If you need help, please consult your course instructor or examiner.

In addition, the requirements of the statutes to ensure good scientific practice at the TUD Dresden University of Technology apply.

Please do not forget to attach a signed declaration to your work, which states that you worked on it by yourself ("Selbstständigkeitserklärung").
