Christoph Lundgreen has held the Chair of Ancient History at the TUD Dresden University of Technology since April 2022. He is currently working on "Political culture and normative structures in Greco-Roman antiquity" as part of a Heisenberg grant from the German Research Foundation on topics including forms of populism in antiquity, aspects of statehood and governance in the Greek archaic period and the methodological problems for historians in reconstructing norms.
