From March 2024, the Chair of Structural Design of the Faculty of Architecture at TU Dresden will be exhibiting works by the artist and architect Peter Albert (*1936 in Dresden) from the art collection of the Office for Academic Heritage, Scientific and Art Collections at TU Dresden. In the 1950s, Albert himself studied at the architecture section of the then Dresden University of Technology, where he taught painting and graphics as an assistant to Professors Georg Nerlich and Ernst Alfred Mühler after graduating.

We cordially invite you to the vernissage on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 6 to 8:00 pm. The evening will open with an introduction to Peter Albert's work, followed by a talk in which the artist will talk about his training and teaching at our institution. The speaker will be Gwendolin Kremer, curator of the Office for Academic Heritage, Scientific and Art Collections at TU Dresden.
