Interview with Verena Straub for the TU Dresden video series “Gute Frage”

Verena Straub spoke to the team of the TU Dresden video format “Gute Frage” about our DFG research project “Bildproteste in den Sozialen Medien” and how memes are used in political discussions. She also talked about what actually characterizes memes, who uses memes and for what purpose.

Dr. Philipp Lorenz-Spreen (SynoSys), Dr. Johannes Pahlke (Chair of Algorithmics) and Paul Hübler (JoDDiD) were also interviewed for the episode, which deals with the question “Is social media a problem for democracy?”.
