21.-25.11.2022 Exhibition "Sound-Space-Body"
Places in the city can thus be specifically perceived, digitized and thus recombined. These sound spaces are investigated in correspondence to and through physical movement (dance, performance) and in relation to built or to be built spaces of interaction. The space "Weiße Gasse 8" serves as a starting point for works by students of the HfBK, the Palucca University of Dance Dresden and the Faculty of Architecture of the TU Dresden. Works will be presented that deal experimentally with the interaction of sound, movement and their spatial-creative articulation and that thematically take up the perception of space.
The project seminar is led by Jun.-Prof. Dr. Miriam Akkermann, Empirical Musicology, TUD, Prof. Katharina Christl, Palucca University of Dance Dresden,
Prof. Dr. Henning Haupt, Professorship for Design Theory, Faculty of Architecture, TUD, and Dipl. Ing. Rostislav Komitov, Faculty of Architecture, TUD.
The foyer room in the "Weiße Gasse 8" will be open from 21-25.11.2022 from approx. 18 o'clock; every evening different performances and projects can be experienced.
Admission is free.
"Sound Space Body" is part of the project Wissen schafft Raum, which takes place in cooperation with EU4Art_differences, HfBK Dresden. It is funded by EXU Maßnahme „TUD im Dialog“.
