Fragile balance - interreligious dialog between identity and openness
On December 15 2025, the event "Fragile Balance - How much self-denial can interreligious dialog tolerate?" took place at the Haus der Kathedrale. Around 60 participants accepted the invitation.
Prof. Felix Körner introduced the evening with an impulse on Nostra Aetate. The conciliar declaration of 1965 marked a repositioning of the Catholic Church towards other religions, especially Judaism.
Rabbi Zsolt Balla, Rabbi Daniel Fabian and Prof. Felix Körner then took to the podium to discuss the tensions and opportunities of interreligious dialog between Judaism and Christianity.
