Higher teacher training at grammar schools (Lehramt an Gymnasien) and Higher teacher training at  vocational training schools (Berufsbildenden Schulen). 

LAPO I, valid since 1. February 2022

Latinum, Graecum or Hebraicum.
The qualification can be verified either by the Abitur certificate or by a corresponding Abitur supplementary examination that is taken during your studies.

Requested by study regulations: Study started in WS 23/24

In addition to the language skills, which are requested by LAPO I, you have to learn the other two languages (Latin, Greek (Old-Greek or Greek (New Testament)) an Hebrew), each language with 4 SWS and undertake the examination for each language. For the Greek language you have attend the first two courses A1 und A2, with 2 SWS each.

Requested by study regulations: Study started before WS 23/24

In addition to the language skills, which are requested by LAPO I, you have to learn Greek (Old-Greek or Greek (New Testament)) with 8 SWS (= attending the courses A1-B1) and Hebrew with 4 SWS and undertake the examination for each language.

Teacher training at secondary schools (Lehramt an Oberschulen)

LAPO I, valid since 1. February 2022

No language skills are requested.

Requested by study regulations

You have to learn Latin with mit 4 SWS and undertake the examination.
Furthermore, you have to learn Greek (Old-Greek or Greek (New Testament)) and Hebrew, each language  with 2 SWS and undertake the examination for each language. For the Greek language attend the course A1, for the Hebrew language attend the course "Hebraicumskurs 1" for half the term (=2 SWS).
