Statement on the "Responsum" of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith

More than 200 professors of Catholic theology from the German-speaking world have signed a statement drafted by a working group at the University of Münster by March 21, 2021. The statement distances itself from the recent responsum of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which declares the ecclesial blessing of same-sex partnerships to be theologically impossible.

Professors from the Institute of Catholic Theology at the TU Dresden also signed the statement.
