Dr Christian Kern ist Initiator und Koordinator des Forschungsnetzwerkes "Theology, performance & politics". The network brings together scholars and practitioners at the intersection of theology, performance and political theory. It makes existing approaches and activities at this intersection visible and stimulates dialogue between them. In this interdisciplinary setting, it elaborates and publishes reflections on performance, its theological implications and qualities, its references to and impact on social and political situations. The network is currently in the start-up phase, a finding proposal is in preparation. For information on the vision and basic research ideas please see PDF Concept. For the upcoming online conference "performing theology", 20-22 May 2022, see hier.
