Event Notice March 24: DGVN - "Who is WHO" with Anna Holzscheiter

On Wednesday, March 24, Anna Holzscheiter will speak at the "Who is WHO" event of the DGVN (Deutsche Gesellschaft für die Vereinten Nationen Landesverband Nord e.V.). The event will take place from 18:30 - 20:00 via Zoom.

Since the WHO (World Health Organization) is often mentioned in the media due to the current pandemic, the following questions will be clarified in the event: What expectations are placed on the WHO and can it fulfill them? To what extent does it influence the distribution of vaccines against the coronavirus? And how does private funding affect the international organization's ability to act?

Christian Lindmeier will make an introductory presentation. He is Spokesperson & Communications Officer at the the WHO in Geneva and will explain the role of the WHO in the coronavirus pandemic. Prof. Dr. Anna Holzscheiter will comment on the lecture afterwards. This will be followed by a joint discussion.
