Analysing complex global problems and actor relationships
Research at the Chair of International Politics is motivated by two fundamental goals. On the one hand, we want to make original contributions to the theory-based, well-founded empirical analysis of international politics. On the other hand, we want to contribute—also through research-oriented teaching—to a better understanding of complex global problems and political processes. We emphasize particular importance on the transfer between political science analysis of international politics and the practice of international relations.
