We congratulate Felix Stadelmann on receiving the Wilhelm Gotthelf Lohrmann Medal!
Felix Stadelmann, a former staff member of the Chair of International Politics, has been awarded the Wilhelm Gotthelf Lohrmann Medal by the Technical University of Dresden. The honor recognizes the top graduate of the faculty in 2024 and acknowledges outstanding academic achievements. Stadelmann completed his Master of Arts in International Relations with a focus on Global Political Economics earlier this year. This award marks the pinnacle of his extraordinary academic journey.
During his studies, Felix Stadelmann worked as a research assistant at the Chair of International Politics. He was particularly involved in a research project on “Youth Participation in Global Health Governance”. As part of the project, he contributed to two academic publications and collaborated closely with Prof. Dr. Anna Holzscheiter and Dr. Laura Pantzerhielm.
During a one-year study break, Felix Stadelmann also worked for the United Nations World Food Programme in Honduras. His stay was supported by a Carlo Schmid Scholarship. This experience shaped his perspective on global food security and humanitarian aid and inspired the topic of his thesis: “Humanitarian Diplomacy as an Emerging Concept in Humanitarian Discourse.”
The Wilhelm Gotthelf Lohrmann Medal highlights Felix Stadelmann’s exceptional academic performance and tireless commitment. The Chair of International Politics warmly congratulates Felix Stadelmann on this well-deserved recognition and wishes him every success in the future!
