Thomas Heppener - Head of Division "Democracy Promotion" at the BMFSFJ visits the JoDDiD.
Thomas Heppener - Head of Division "Democracy Promotion" at the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth visits JoDDiD.
Time and again, people from various areas of political education come to JoDDiD for a professional exchange. Whether stakeholders from political education practice, representatives of political education organizations or from the field of funding and administration. We are very pleased about the breadth and diversity of the possible exchange and networking.
In this context, we had the opportunity today (Monday, November 8, 2021) to engage in a lively discussion with Thomas Heppener in the JoDDiD consulting workshop about extracurricular civic education, its opportunities and challenges. With his expertise from managing the Anne Frank Center and supporting the "Live Democracy!" funding network, we were able to engage in several hours of intensive, practice-oriented exchange with Thomas Heppener, who summarized it as follows: "I am enthusiastic about JoDDiD. We need new approaches and ideas in political education."
