Modellierung des Einflusses von Fakten gegenüber Einstellungen in der Personenbeurteilungsforschung
Alltagssprachliche und wissenschaftliche Personenbeschreibungen haben letztlich dieselbe Funktion: Charakteristische, reale Merkmale der beschriebenen Personen in ökonomischer Weise abzubilden. Gleichzeitig sind die meisten Personenbeschreibungen aber auch bewertend, das heißt sie beinhalten eindeutige Informationen darüber, wie positiv oder kritisch die beschreibende Person der beschriebenen Person gegenübersteht. Ich berichte über unsere konzeptuelle und empirische Forschung zum relativen Einfluss dieser beiden Faktoren. Das Zusammenspiel von Fakten und Einstellungen zu verstehen ist wichtig, um einige typische Fehlinterpretationen von Daten zu vermeiden. Ziel dieser Forschung ist die Erstellung eines möglichst exakten und sparsamen Modells, in dem sich wichtige Phänomene im Bereich der Personenbeurteilung gemeinsam abstrakt darstellen lassen.
