We are delighted to welcome award-winning writer Laura Pugno as part of our digital event series on Italian climate change fiction. Pugno was born in Rome in 1970 and is a playwright, essayist, poet and novelist. Her writing includes the poetry collections L'alea (2019), I Legni (2018) and Noi (2020), as well as numerous novels, such as La metà di bosco (2017), La ragazza selvaggia (2016) and the CliFi text Sirene, published in 2007. The modern fairy tale, Melusina, which was illustrated by Elisa Seitzinger, was published in 2022.
