Guest Lecture Series: “Of Gender Clashes, Psycho Tests, and Pronoun Twists – A Psycho/Linguistic Journey through the World of Gender, Genus, and Sexus” (26.-28.11.2025)
As part of the TUD Diversity Days 2025, the Equal Opportunity Officers of the Faculty of Linguistics, Literature and Cultural Studies, the Chair of German as a Second and Foreign Language, and the Language and Multilingualism Lab (LMLab) cordially invite you to an inspiring guest lecture series on Gender, Genus, and Sexus in Language and Cognition. On three consecutive days, students, researchers, and all interested participants will have the opportunity to engage with evidence-based insights and lively debates surrounding gender-fair language and cognitive gender representations. The lectures will explore the linguistic structures underlying gender-inclusive language, present experimental findings on how language shapes gender representations, and discuss cross-linguistic research on pronoun interpretation.
Further information on the three guest lectures can be found here.
