"Network Language(s) Education at the TUD" founded
After a short introduction and an input on the relevance of the cross-cutting topic "Linguistic Education" in Dresden's teacher education, those present collected experiences, ideas and questions on teaching and research with regard to cross-phase teacher education in an interactive mindmap. In the process, numerous possible focal points of the network's work were identified. In addition, the participants agreed on the future organization of the network, which sees itself as a non-hierarchically organized, low-threshold and cross-phase exchange and work platform open to all interested members.
An Opal course was set up as an asynchronous exchange platform between the meetings. The first document posted there is the presentation from the founding meeting; there is also a link to a collaborative interactive mindmap of experiences, wishes and ideas on the topic of "Language Education at the TUD".
All interested members - students as well as faculty - are welcome to sign up for the course.
The network meetings should take place in regular intervals (every 5-8 weeks), in presence or also digitally. Invitations will be sent by OPAL newsletter. The next meeting will take place in the first week of October. The topic is: "Language sensitivity as a cross-sectional task". Day, form and time will be determined by Dudle vote.
More information will be sent out via the Opal Course mailing list prior to the meeting.
We are happy about interest and a growing community!
