1. The Saxon international internship Program (SiiP) supports students from Saxony. Internships are offered by: ASYS Automatic Systems GmbH & Co.KG, Siemens Ltd. Taiwan; Merck Group Taiwan, Infineon Technologies Taiwan, and TRUMPF Taiwan.

2. TUD Students interested in Semiconducting in Taiwan?
The most recent partner university of Technische Universität Dresden in Taiwan, the renowned National Cheng Kung University in Tainan offers to financially support TUD students for attendance at the 2025 NCKU AISSM Semiconductor Summer School!

Program period: July 23rd - August 2nd, 2025
Courses:
(A) Digital IC Design and Synthesis (3 credits);
(B)Analog IC Design and Layout  (3 credits);
(C)Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing and Packaging Testing (3 credits)

Nomination Spots: 4 (with a special rate of the program fee of USD 500)

Financial Support Spots: 2 (for students who enrolled in Course A or Course B only; Course C students are not eligible.) for the flights and stipend

1. Flights: A maximum of TWD 40,000 (approx. 1.200 Euro) per student, covering flight ticket expenses to and from NCKU, Taiwan, based on actual receipts.

2. Stipend: TWD 30,000 (approx. 900 Euro)/student
The selected students will receive the subsidy when they get to NCKU for summer school attendance.

Additionally, NCKU provides a complimentary 10-day Chinese language course right after the semiconductor summer school, from August 4 to August 15, with a maximum of 15 spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
