Research Interests at a Glance
The Chair's research areas are media linguistics, digital linguistics, socio- and discourse linguistics, historical linguistics, contrastive linguistics and contact linguistics, morphosyntax and cognitive linguistics.
The focus is on AI-generated texts, forms of multilingual text production in French and Italian language history (with an emphasis on the 18th century), the marking of modality and evidentiality as well as normative discourses in language columns from Quebec, Belgium and Italy.
