WHEN? Wednesday, June 1, 2022, 5:00 p.m.
WHERE? SLK Faculty, Wiener Str. 48, 01219 Dresden, Room 0.04
Top Tips from Alumni for Students
- Be open-minded and curious—interesting career opportunities can arise even in industries that may not seem typical for language and culture studies.
- Gain practical experience in various fields while you’re still in school, especially if you don’t yet have a clear idea of your career path after college.
- Develop an awareness of which skills and abilities you’ve acquired during your studies that will also be useful in your professional life.
- And finally: Don’t get discouraged if your job application doesn’t work out right away. The path to a career is rarely a straight line.
