Russian
1. Placement
A placement test is obligatory if you have prior knowledge of Russian. For language learning seminars at the Institute of Slavic Studies please register in the first week of the semester with Dr Anna Kraus (Russian teacher at the Institute of Slavic Studies) for a placement interview. For language courses at the Languages and Cultures Teaching Centre (LSK), you must do an online placement test. You can find out more on the TUDIAS pages.
2. Module allocation
For the elective module in Russian, EuroS students may attend the language learning seminars at the Institute of Slavic Studies. In addition, courses at the Languages and Cultures Teaching Centre (LSK) can be used. The language course attendance requirement for each module is 4 hours per week for one semester (4 SWS), either as a double course (e.g. Russian Breakthrough 1) or as two separate courses. Please note that if two separate courses are taken, only one of the two examinations (oral or written) can be taken.
