Lohrmann Medal for IHI alumna
On December 1, 2020, our IHI graduate Kathleen Klement was awarded the Lohrmann Medal by the TU Dresden. 2% of the best graduates can be nominated for this medal. Kathleen is the best graduate of IHI Zittau in the academic year 22/23.
"I started studying Business Ethics and Responsible Management in 2020", Kathleen Klement reports. "Before my Master's thesis I did an internship at a human rights organization, where I was then taken on as a working student. During this time, I wrote my Master's thesis on the topic "Exploitation of labor - a problem of collective
responsibility. A business ethics analysis of the German construction industry", with Prof. Michael Aßländer and Dr. Eckhard Burkatzki.
Today I work as an Advocacy Manager at the same human rights organization to lobby against labour exploitation and for human rights at a national level."
Ms. Lisa-Marie Brzenczek (graduate of the Biotechnology and Applied Ecology course) and Ms. Katja Csuk (graduate of the Business Ethics & Responsible Management course) also received a certificate from IHI Zittau in recognitionof the best graduates.
Dear Ms. Klement, Ms. Csuk and Ms. Brzenczek, congratulations on this outstanding achievement and the award!
