Registration for and withdrawal from examinations for the core examination period
You must register for the provision of (preliminary) examination services.
- from matriculation year 2024: Registration for written and oral examinations is done via Selma.
- Older cohorts continue to register via the Opal education portal, unless you have been informed otherwise by the Examination Office. Therefore, please always pay attention to our emails.
For seminar papers, presentations and other corresponding written work, the registration procedure will be announced by the lecturer at the beginning of the course.
Deregistration from written or oral examinations:
- From matriculation year 2024: Deregistration from an examination is only possible via Selma up to 3 full working days before the examination date without giving reasons.
- Older cohorts continue to deregister up to 3 full working days before the examination date using the form or by e-mail (only from TU e-mail address) to the Examination Office.
After this deadline, the examination registration is binding; in case of non-participation, the examination will be assessed as "failed (5.0)".
Please note: The examination date for presentations, seminar papers and other corresponding written work is the day on which the topic/assignment is issued (closing of the topic list or similar).
The respective deadline for registration and deregistration can be found under examination times and schedules.
Please be sure to follow the Examination Office's instructions for registering and deregistering for module examinations.
