Withdrawal from examinations
An examination performance is rated as "insufficient" (5.0) if you miss an examination date that is binding for you without a valid reason or withdraw without a valid reason.
Only if you immediately substantiate a valid reason for your non-attendance and notify the Examination Office in writing can this be approved as withdrawal.
In case of illness, the application for withdrawal due to illness and a medical certificate must be submitted in original (copy or scan by e-mail will not be accepted). Please note that a basic health insurance certificate or a certificate of incapacity to work is not sufficient.
This regulation also applies to the processing time of seminar papers / term papers and master's theses.
If you have to withdraw for any other reason after the deadline, please use this application, which must be submitted in the original (copy or scan by e-mail will not be accepted).
