Withdrawal from examinations
An examination performance is rated as "insufficient" (5.0) if you miss an examination date that is binding for you without a valid reason or withdraw without a valid reason.
Only if you immediately substantiate a valid reason for your non-attendance and notify the Examination Office in writing can this be approved as withdrawal.
In case of illness, the application for withdrawal due to illness and a medical certificate must be submitted in original. Please note that a basic health insurance certificate or a certificate of incapacity to work is not sufficient.
This regulation also applies to the processing time of seminar papers / term papers and master's theses.
If you have to withdraw for any other reason after the deadline, please use this application.
