MINT meets Art - art exhibition at the Zeunerbau since January 16
Since January 16, pupils from the Sächsisches Landesgymnasium Sankt Afra in Meißen have been demonstrating just how creative and inspiring the combination of science and art can be in the corridor of the Zeunerbau (in front of room 340).
As part of the interdisciplinary project "MINT meets ART", the participants from grades 7 to 10 were given exciting insights into the research of the RTG 2868 D³ Research Training Group. In direct exchange with young researchers, they learned how mathematical models and data-driven approaches to resilient metamaterials can be translated into visual forms. These impressions were then creatively processed - both analog and digital.
The resulting artworks bring scientific topics to life in a surprisingly vivid way and show how intuitively young people can access complex concepts when they become visually tangible.
We cordially invite all interested parties to visit the exhibition in the Zeunerbau and take a look at the impressive results of this special STEM art dialog.
