We are pleased to announce that the SprInt Program will be offering the first German course in a pilot project starting in the 2024 summer semester. International employees – especially those in technical and administrative positions for whom there are currently no explicit German language courses – are invited to apply. International staff in research positions are also welcome, provided there are still places available. We will make admission decisions based on the number of applications received. PhD students and postdocs can register for German courses at the DRESDEN-concept Welcome Center. 

Registration for the summer semester 2024 runs from March 25, 2024 to April 15, 2024. The course consists of 15 teaching units, each session usually comprises two teaching units of 45 minutes. We plan to start the course mid May 2024. The course will take place in the form of a virtual event.

The SprInt program, which has been funded by the Excellence Initiative since 2019, gives TU Dresden employees (including SHK and WHK) the opportunity to develop their global skills. With the help of customized language learning opportunities and intercultural training, you will be made fit for everyday working life in the international environment of TUD. Upon successful participation, you will receive a certificate issued by the University Executive Board as recognition and proof of quality in one of the three variants: "Cultural Expertise", "Language Expertise" and "Excellence"!
