Three-phase electric current, high current electric shocks & current issues: "Hot Seat" with Electrical Engineering students
Are you constantly building circuits during your studies? Do you have to deal with a lot of electric shocks? And can you tell us what direction three-phase current rotates in? Our Electrical and Computer Engineering students answered these questions and more in the latest episode of our video series “Hot Seat.”
The video also focuses on the diverse fields of employment of budding electrical engineers. We ask the students whether they repair all their broken appliances themselves, how studying electrical engineering actively contributes to the energy transition, and whether their favorite subject at school was physics.
“Hot Seat” gives us the perfect opportunity to talk to our staff, students and alumni, and to answer some of the most interesting or most asked questions submitted by our Instagram community. Every Wednesday, we release a new video on both of our YouTube channels: Discover TU Dresden (TU Dresden entdecken) and Try TU Dresden (TU Dresden probieren)
