Textbook: Selbstgeführte Stromrichter am Gleichspannungszwischenkreis (self-commutated converters on DC voltage intermediate circuit)
- The book deals with the power electronic sub-field of self-commutated converters on DC-link voltage
- Reference text, which enables familiarisation with the important topic of power electronics.
- Contains numerous illustrations
Power electronics enable optimal adaptation, conversion and regulation of electrical energy. Since these functions are essential for numerous applications, power electronics plays a central role in the fields of industry, energy, transportation, medicine and communication technology. The worldwide expansion of regenerative energy sources, and the further development of hybrid and electric vehicles, mean that the importance of power electronics continues to grow rapidly.
This textbook covers the sub-field of self-commutated AC-DC converters as a component of converters with DC-link voltage. Structure, function, modulation and control of the widely used two-point converter are described in detail, clearly and intelligibly. This book is primarily intended for students at universities and universities of applied sciences. However, it can also serve as a reference text for engineers already working in industry.
