Guest lecture at Scoliosis Up2Date in Regensburg: Scoliosis screening of the future with AI-supported analysis of the video raster stereographic back scan

On October 9 and 10, 2025, the advanced training event "Scoliosis Up2Date 2025" took place at the Orthopaedics Clinic of the University of Regensburg in the Asklepios Clinic Bad Abbach. The two-day training course focused on current treatment and care concepts for thoracic scoliosis as well as interdisciplinary approaches from the clinic, therapy and orthopaedic technology.
As part of the program, Thurid Jochim and Anke Tschirschky spoke on the topic of "Click & Screen: Scoliosis screening of the future with AI-supported analysis of the video raster stereographic back scan". The presentation addressed the prospects of a data-driven, AI-supported evaluation of non-contact back scans as a building block for future screening and diagnostic processes.
In addition to the specialist presentations and workshops, the event offered a platform for interdisciplinary exchange between doctors, physiotherapists and orthopaedic technicians.
