Content of the course |
The module covers fundamentals and methods for the development of application-specific digital integrated circuits (ASICs). This includes the conversion of a numerical algorithm into a data dependency graph, the application of scheduling and allocation methods, the optimization with regard to resource consumption (area, runtime) as well as the implementation and functional verification (simulation) of the ASIC.
