To promote engineering and natural sciences, the Gisela and Erwin Sick Foundation at TU Dresden is awarding three prizes for outstanding work in the field of “measurement technology”.

The following categories have been announced:

• University Prize for Metrology for an outstanding dissertation
• Prize for measurement and sensor technology in the field of engineering sciences
• Young talent award for measurement and sensor systems technology for outstanding bachelor's, master's, diploma and doctoral theses

When awarding the prizes, particular emphasis is placed on progress in science and the relevance of the research results for practical measurement tasks.

The call is open and applications must be submitted by 31.12.2024.
