General information about the institute
The field of electrical power engineering is under rapid development due to the energy system transformation in Germany and the high load on its power grids. Both chairs Electrical Power Supply and Components of Intelligent Energy Networks continuously contribute to reliable and innovative solutions to encounter present challanges.
We provide students in electrical power engineering with an extensive range of courses to prepare them for the qualification profile of future generations of engineers. interested students do have the possibiltiy to get a deep insight in our current research fields by editing a study-, diploma- or master thesis. By doing so one can take part in designing a future-oriented technology.
