Welcome Felix

Felix Schmieder has been working as a postdoc in our group since October 2026 and is involved in the simulation of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) as part of the “Intelligent Transient Bioelectronics” project, which is funded by the Hector Foundation.

Felix studied physics at Chemnitz University of Technology and earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering at TU Dresden. He brings extensive experience in adaptive optics based on fast spatial light modulators, in the creation of computer-generated holograms, and in optogenetics.
