Welcome, Hannes

Hannes Gürlich has been working as a doctoral student in our group since August 2026 and is conducting research on miniaturized fiber endoscopy for dental applications as part of the DentoScope project.

Hannes completed his master’s degree in physics at the TUD Dresden University of Technology. During his studies, he conducted research on structural analysis and ion diffusion in LiNbO₃ and the associated domain walls. For his research, he utilized time-differenced, disturbed angular correlation with radioactive Cd as well as time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry.
