Welcome Ron

Ron completed his master’s degree in Physics at Leipzig University in 2019. As part of the Semiconductor Physics Group, he investigated indium sulfide as a potential material for intermediate band solar cells (IBSCs). He continued in the same group as PhD student using Raman spectroscopy to analyze scattering processes in copper iodide. In October 2023 he joined the FAIRmat Team to develop data structures and software to enable FAIR data for optical spectroscopy methods in research laboratories. He joined the group as a Laboratory Engineer in August 2025 to maintain experimental setups and digital infrastructure.
