S. Häfner et al. publizieren in Lab on a Chip ein neues Bauelementekonzept, welches smarte Hydrogele als Konverter von der kontinuierlichen zur diskontinuierlichen Mikrofluidik und Speicherelemente mit Readout-Funktion nutzt und für die Mikrofluidik neue Möglichkeiten offeriert.
