Research Training Group 2430 Presents Latest Research Findings at AUTEX2025
The RTG2430 hosts annual workshops to share the latest results from its research to the interested public. This year, the presentation took place on the final day of the AUTEX 2025 conference (Jun 11-13, 2025) in front of an international audience of experts.
The varied program featured academic presentations by the doctoral researchers of the group, completed by engaging guest lectures from renowned international scientists.
A total of 16 presentations were given at the event, including contributions from the following internationally known guest speakers:
Prof. Vladan Koncar – ENSAIT Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textiles, University of Lille: New design of clothing for better comfort, design and efficiency – static and dynamic comfort assessment using a network of sensors
Prof. Lieva van Langenhove - Ghent University, Department of Materials, Textiles and Chemical Engineering: Research on application of Articifial Intelligence (AI) in the areas of clothing and textile
Dr. Hufenus – EMPA Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology development: The beauty of bicomponent fibers - pushing melt-spinning to the limit
These highly informative presentations were met with great interest by the international audience of experts and facilitated a productive and in-depth scientific exchange.
