Our detailed conference program for "PERFORMING TRANSFORMATION: Shifting Landscapes in Art, Science, and Technology" on September 29 and 30, 2025 is now online!
It is with great anticipation that we present the final program of the conference "PERFORMING TRANSFORMATION: Shifting Landscapes in Art, Science, and Technology", which will take place on September 29 and 30, 2025 at TU Dresden.
Over 30 scientific and artistic contributions invite you to reflect on current dynamics, interactions and border shifts between art, science and technology.
The aim is to re-explore the performativity and performance of knowledge - whether in scientific experiments, artistic interventions or collaborative research. The focus is on the question of how knowledge takes place across borders: disciplinary, institutional and social. The conference aims not only to question existing systems of order, but also to test new forms of exchange - as a resonance space in which voices, perspectives and practices meet and interweave to create a dialog about the challenges and possibilities of our present.
Registration is still possible here until September 25.
The program offers:
-
Artist Talks, Performative Lectures and Keynotes by Antonia Majaca, Susanne Kriemann, Mario Pfeifer and Detlef Schweiger, among others.
-
Panel sessions and workshops on topics such as art-science in public spaces, post-industrial landscapes, digital archive and image history with Michael Klipphahn-Karge, Liat Grayver, Emanuel Matthias, Michaela Büsse, Till Ansgar Baumhauer and others.
-
Artistic installations and screenings by Carolin Melia Brendel, Su Yu Hsin, Monika Huber, Philipp Schmitt, Sophie Lindner, Quadrature (Juliane Götz & Sebastian Neitsch) and Martin Kriemann with Stephanie Freide and Petra Mattheis, as well as Małgorzata Łuczyna & Jacek Złoczowski, the CIDS Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Sciences and Against Catastrophe.
