Research Projects
The Chair of Computergraphics and Visualization is part of a wide number of cooperation projects.
CeTI
Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop. CeTI’s vision is to enable humans to interact with co-operating cyber-physical systems over intelligent wide-area-communication networks to promote equitable access to remote work and learning environments for people of different genders, ages, cultural backgrounds, or physical limitations.
CPEC
The Transregional Collaborative Research Centre 248 Center for Perspicuous Computing (CPEC) aims at enabling comprehension in a cyber-physical world with the human in the loop.
PoL
Physics of Life. The project is dedicated to identify physical principles that govern the dynamic organization of active living matter across multiple scales utilizing innovative experimental approaches, theoretical predictions and computer simulation.
SePIA
Szenarien basierte Plattform zur Inspektion automatisierter Fahrfunktionen (scenario based platform for the inspection of automated driving functions). The project aims at providing a prototypical platform with realistic simulation scenarios for the testing of automated driving functions.
DiscoRet
Automatic discovery of pathological features in retina with unsupervised deep neural networks. The project addresses the development of an automatic detection method for retinal lesions from clinically acquired retinal images using unsupervised learning-based neural networks.
CASUS
Center for Advanced Systems Understanding. The project aim at creating digital images of complex systems at unprecedented fidelity in order to predict their interactions and dynamics. Solutions are provided for a range of disciplines – materials science under ambient and extreme conditions, earth system research and systems biology.
NeuroFusion
Development of an assistance system for intraoperative imaging in neurosurgery. By integrating multimodal imaging into the surgical workflow, an intraoperative imaging procedure for functional representation of the brain surface will be established to improve the accuracy and reliability of surgery-supporting technologies and thus reduce the risks of neurosurgical interventions.
OpTiM
"Optische Technologien in der Medizin" (Optical Technologies in the medical context). The project connects the disciplines Medicine, Optics, Sensor Technology, Measurement Engineering, Information Technology and Medical Engineering. Funded via Europäische Sozialfonds (ESF)
