The Institute of Software and Multimedia Technology

Innovation in the field of (mobile) communication and cooperation, the Internet and multimedia interaction between system and user are the driving forces behind completely new applications emerging in both private and business environments. There is also a need to integrate existing applications into the new infrastructure and to constantly expand and update them. In order to support these diverse and rapidly changing applications at a reasonable cost and in a reasonable time, utilizing the potential of the new technologies and with the necessary quality, appropriate methods and tools are required for the specification, implementation, testing and maintenance/updating of systems and content.

In teaching and research, the Institute deals with all aspects of the design, creation, implementation and maintenance of complex, in particular multimedia software and application systems and has the relevant experience in research and practice as well as the necessary infrastructure.
