DigiPhenoMS - Digital Phenotyping for Intelligent Management of MS
The DigiPhenoMS project is focused on digital phenotyping for the intelligent management of multiple sclerosis (MS). MS treatment involves complex, continuously adjusted plans. Precise characterization of MS patients is essential for individualized management, requiring continuous digital collection of data from diagnosis, therapy, and monitoring. The project aims to create and implement an IT system for data-driven patient type characterization (phenotyping) and individualization of patient paths, leveraging artificial intelligence technologies. It uses established machine learning methods to adaptively create, visualize, and optimize patient phenotypes and individual paths for personalized care. The project also aims to enhance the adaptability and integration of care, leading to more precise financing and reduced healthcare costs, benefiting the healthcare industry. DigiPhenoMS is a cooperative project involving the MS Center at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden, the Digital Health Research Group, and the Chair of Software Technology at the Technical University of Dresden, funded by the eHealthSax directive of the Free State of Saxony.
